These unit standards will give you the key skills you need for a job in any workplace.

Subjects

Learn about the different types of communication in the workplace. This includes written communication (like notices, instructions, specifications, letters and memos) and spoken communication (like face-to-face or telephone conversations). Learn about how to be a good listener when talking with your friends and with people at work.
Learn about what makes a good work team (for example, communication skills, different cultures and sharing ideas), the different team roles, how teams work together and how team meetings are run.
